Red Oak. Carved from red oak wood, this bowl is spalted and has lovely patterns on the inside. The diameter is 12 ½” x 3” tall and has a 1 ½” depth. The 1” rim is flat and wide. On the outside of the bowl the rim is ½” thick then curve in and dow to meet the 9” bottom. There are some splits that have been repaired with black epoxy. The finish is shellac and wax.
