Oak Burl
Oak Burl with epoxy. This piece is definitely one of a kind. When the lathe started turning the burl, it fell apart. Rather than discard it, a mold was crafted from a plastic planting pot and an old plastic container. The container was placed inside the planter leaving enough space to closely insert the pieces of oak and then mix and pour purple epoxy. Once dry, it was put back on the lathe and the result is a waterproof planter or table ornament. Price $70.00
