Oak. The small, deep bowl is carved from spalted oak which shows mostly on the bottom and slanted side of it. As with spalting, this bowl has small fractures that have been filled with black epoxy on the rim and inside to keep it from splitting. It is 6 ¾” across, 3 ¼” high and 2” deep.
