Cherry Bowl
Carved from a cross section of a cherry tree, this bowl is not uniform in its shape due to how the tree grew. The wide flat rim has live edge on two sections of it that continue down the sides of the bowl to its base. There is a narrow indented pedestal on the bottom of the piece that shows insect damage. I left these as they do not mar the stability of the bowl and allow "nature" to remain. My hope is that whoever purchases this piece will appreciate it as I enjoyed making it.
